Dwyer Architectural, LLC, an architectural and interior-design firm with a focus in health care and higher-education design, has announced the promotion of Sara DeSalvo, AIA to associate principal.

Sara joined Dwyer Architectural’s Rochester office in 2019 with more than 20 years of professional design experience. She has been a registered architect in New York state since 2017 and is currently serving on the AIA Rochester board of directors as the 2024 VP. Since joining Dwyer, Sara has dedicated her expertise to Dwyer’s health care design team, finding a unique way to impact her community through architecture. She has designed and constructed multiple projects from dental clinics to sophisticated hospital operating rooms and child psychiatric facilities. She is a leader within the firm, dedicated to its success and the happiness of her coworkers. Sara is currently working on projects with University of Rochester Medical Center and at its offsite locations.
