Sensis technology in use at Dubai airport

DeWITT — Saab Sensis technology is now up and running at Dubai International Airport.

Sensis is a subsidiary of Saab AB, a Swedish defense and security company. The technology deployed in Dubai, the company’s surface multilateration system, provides air traffic controllers with surveillance of aircraft operating on the airport’s surface.

Dubai International is the 13th busiest airport in the world and the busiest in the Middle East, according to Sensis. Nearly 100 sites around the world use Sensis’ multilateration system for surveillance.
