Joining Barbara Shineman on the board are Thomas Schneider, president and CEO of Pathfinder Bank; Karen Goetz, president and CEO of Inforia, Inc.; and Jonathan Daniels, executive director of the Port of Oswego Authority. The foundation was established in 2012 by the bequest of Richard Shineman, a professor of chemistry at the State University of New York Oswego.
The foundation says it aims to build the capacity of nonprofit organizations to enhance the quality of life in their communities. Barbara Shineman, Richard Shineman’s widow, will serve as board president.
