Annese expects the event, which will focus on business technology and “innovation,” will draw “hundreds” of technology leaders from across New York and the northeastern U.S.

“For more than four decades, Annese has been a leader in technology solutions with a continual focus on innovation. SightLine 2016 is a natural evolution of our commitment to innovation in a wide range of technology realms, from managed services to cloud computing, security and data-center virtualization,” Jamie Aiello, Annese’s VP of services, contended in the news release. “SightLine 2016 will bring together chief information officers, chief financial officers, [information-technology] department directors, network managers, systems/business analysts, chief security officers, chief technology officers, and entrepreneurs for two days of knowledge sharing, professional training, and networking.”

SightLine will include workshops and breakout sessions that focus on cloud computing, data centers, cybersecurity, enterprise networking and collaboration.

In addition, Daniel Burrus, considered one of the “world’s leading technology forecasters and business strategists,” will deliver the event’s keynote address on Nov. 3.

Burrus is the founder and CEO of Burrus Research, a research and consulting firm.

The firm monitors global advancements in technology-driven trends to “help clients better understand how technological, social and business forces are converging to create untapped opportunities,” according to the event news release.

“Having Daniel Burrus as our keynote speaker is a real honor that genuinely enhances the prestige of SightLine 2016,” said Aiello. “With the combination of Daniel’s unique insights and the expertise and leadership that the hundreds of SightLine 2016 attendees will bring, participants at the conference will not only see into the future, but will truly have a chance to start creating it.”
