The move will unite all SDMG departments and teams, “fostering a more efficient and collaborative environment for staff and patients,” the news release read.
SDMG’s Ilion office at 55 Central Avenue is located in a building that SDMG physicians donated to Arc Herkimer a decade ago but continued operating in the building due to space constraints in New Hartford. However, SDMG recently opened a new facility on Business Park Drive, allowing the medical group to optimize space utilization, reunite departments and return the Ilion space to Arc Herkimer.
“We are committed to delivering exceptional care,” Alexander Harris, president of SDMG, said in the release. “We are sincerely thankful to the Arc Herkimer for allowing us to use the Ilion space when the New Hartford campus reached capacity. Reuniting departments and teams will not only boost efficiency but also raise the overall standard of care for our patients.”
