NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. — Slocum-Dickson Medical Group will celebrate the grand opening of its new campus at 117 Business Park Drive in the LaPolla & Ford Business Park on May 3 at 4:30 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The state-of-the-art campus is centrally located and offers new or expanded services. Several departments, including the breast-care center, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics, relocated from Slocum-Dickson’s Burrstone Road campus to the new business park location.

“Our commitment to providing the community with quality care was the driving force behind the new location,” Slocum-Dickson Medical Group President Dr. Alexander Harris said in a press release. “It improves and expands care locally and provides us with the opportunity to continue to grow and provide patient-centered care.”

The new campus also allowed for the expansion of the imaging department. While select imaging services remain at Burrstone Road, mammography moved to the new location, which features the addition of MRI and PET scan machines.

Elite Medical Spa and Wellness Institute, operated by Slocum-Dickson plastic Surgeon Dr. Stephan Barrientos, offers facial and body-aesthetics services from its location in the new building.

Slocum-Dickson Medical Group employs more than 50 physicians and several hundred staff members as a physician-owned, multi-specialty group practice.
