The Southern Tier and North Country regions have each administered 92 percent of the total vaccine doses they have received, the state reported Thursday.
That ranked them tied for first with the Western New York region in being the fastest in the state at getting available vaccine doses into arms.
The Central New York region, which had led the way in this measure earlier, is currently tied for 5th place at 87 percent.
The statewide percentage is 85 percent. In all, nearly 3.1 million vaccine doses have made it into arms in the state, out of more than 3.6 million doses received.
