Baldanza is a native of Rome and graduate of Syracuse University.

In his remarks, he’ll discuss how he took a “desperately struggling” business and invented the first ultra low cost carrier, a new category in the aviation industry, CenterState CEO said in a news release.

Under Baldanza’s leadership, Spirit Airlines “created opportunity” in an industry that global-network carriers dominated, CenterState CEO added.
