SRC board of trustees names new leadership, officers

CICERO — The board of trustees at SRC, Inc. on Tuesday announced it named M. Catherine Richardson, a retired partner in the Syracuse law firm of Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, as its new chairperson.

 

It also named Tom Triscari, Jr., a professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, as the new vice chairperson.

 

The board also voted in new officers from its operations and strategy divisions, including Anthony Albanese, Kevin Hair, and Joseph Lauko.

SRC is the former Syracuse Research Corp.

 

Richardson spent her entire legal career with Bond, Schoeneck & King. She served as a business attorney representing companies, school districts and large nonprofits involved in the healthcare industry, SRC said in a news release.  

 

She earned degrees from the State University of New York at Oswego, the University of Northern Colorado, and the Syracuse University College of Law, according to SRC.

 

The company’s business growth and community leadership have “impressed” the new chairperson during her time serving as a trustee, Richardson said in the news release.

 

“They are an innovative company that has brought hundreds of jobs to CNY and nationwide, and maybe more importantly, they continue to save lives every day with their state-of-the-art products and services. I am honored to be chairing such a solid team of board members and working with Paul [Tremont] and his leadership team,” said Richardson.

 

And Tremont also offered his support.

 

“Catherine has been on our board of trustees for 15 years and has shown tremendous leadership,” Paul Tremont, president of SRC, said in the news release.

 

Prior to his academic work at RPI, Triscari was a career officer in the U.S. Air Force and held technical, research and development positions.

 

He was responsible for advancing and applying emerging technology to national programs in reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence, along with command and control systems, SRC said.

 

He retired from active duty in 1995 at the rank of lieutenant colonel.

 

After his retirement, Triscari founded Information Technology Management, Inc., a partnership of professionals providing specialized research, education, leadership training, and consulting services to a variety of customers, both in the public and private sectors.

 

Besides his role as vice chairperson on the SRC board, Triscari also serves as board chairperson of the board for SRCTec, Inc.

 

SRC, Inc. is a nonprofit research and development company serving the defense, environment, and intelligence sectors. SRCTec, its for-profit subsidiary, offers manufacturing and lifecycle support for complex electronics systems, the company said.
