SRC, Inc. has promoted RYAN AURES to director in the Electronic Warfare (EW) division. He will lead the newly formed simulation, test and evaluation business area within the Mission Intelligence and Engineering business unit. Aures has been with SRC for more than 10 years and has experience across several of SRC’s business units, including EW and radar system design, systems engineering, and program management. He graduated from the University of Rochester with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical and computer engineering.

GREGORY KOPIASZ has been promoted to director in the EW division and will manage SRC’s EW technologies and systems business area within the EW and Communications System business unit. He has been with SRC for 17 years and brings a wealth of experience to this role having worked across the entire SRC enterprise on the CREW Duke family of systems since their inception, as an engineer and program manager. Kopiasz is a graduate of Clarkson University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He also has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University.

STEPHEN ABBE has been appointed director, business development for the EW division. He will focus on business development in the EW modernization and simulation, testing and training markets. Having been with SRC for more than 20 years, Abbe has maintained multiple leadership roles and holds the distinction of being one of the first employees at SRC to be awarded a patent for his Mobile Voice Verification System. His vast amount of experience extends far beyond engineering, as he has held positions in business development and project management, in addition to leading teams of technical professionals. Abbe has an associate degree of engineering science from Mohawk Valley Community College, a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Union College, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University.

JON FARRELL has been named director, business development for the EW division. He will focus on the expansion and development of SRC’s SIGINT and EW modernization programs in U.S. and international markets. Farrell has been with SRC for 12 years and in that time, has filled the roles of chief engineer, engineering project manager, and lead systems engineer. Most recently, as the manager of the EW product engineering group, he led the systems engineering and software development of next generation SIGINT and EW technologies within SRC’s Mission Intelligence and Engineering business unit. Farrell holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Dayton.

VAN HENDERSON joins SRC in the role of director, business development for the Technical Services division. He will focus on developing and implementing successful business strategies to expand our customer. Henderson brings more than 35 years of experience to his new role, having worked for a variety of large firms in similar technology areas. His initial focus will be on federal civilian agencies and DoD customers. Henderson graduated from Virginia State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in educational media. He then went on to pursue post graduate work and various other certification programs at the Universities of Michigan, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania.

MAUREEN WIGGE has been promoted to assistant VP, Electronic Warfare and Communications (EW&C) Systems. She will provide leadership, execution, and vision for the EW&C Systems business unit. Wigge has been with SRC for nine years and brings more than 35 years of experience in the EW field. Wigge earned her bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Virginia, and is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership’s Development Program and the Johns Hopkins University/Syracuse University National Security Studies Course.
