SRC names Crouse CEO Boynton to board of trustees

CICERO, N.Y. — SRC Inc. announced that Kimberly Boynton, president and CEO of Crouse Health (which operates Crouse Hospital) has joined the organization’s board of trustees.

Boynton also serves as VP of the Crouse Health Foundation, SRC said in a recent news release.

SRC’s board of trustees, which includes senior executives and industry leaders, oversees the corporation’s activities. The board includes members from government, law, banking, finance, the intelligence community, and manufacturing.

The nonprofit SRC is headquartered in Cicero and focuses on areas that include defense, environment, and intelligence.

Boynton began her career at Crouse in 1998. She became chief financial officer in 2003 and served in that role until her appointment as CEO in January 2014.

In her time at Crouse, Boynton has overseen operational areas that include information technology, health-information management, patient access, engineering and facilities, housekeeping, purchasing, materials management, and construction management.

She was “instrumental” in the development of the organization’s health-care reform stage 1 ‘meaningful use’ roll-out, acquisition of Internist Associates of CNY, the formation and integration of Crouse Medical Practice, and construction of the hospital’s $53 million Witting Surgical Center and $13 million parking-garage projects, SRC said.

“Kimberly is an excellent addition to the SRC board,” Catherine Richardson, board chairperson, said in the SRC release. “Her outstanding leadership both at Crouse and within the Syracuse community, as well as her proven track record of successfully running a business, will be invaluable when providing input as SRC continues to grow.”
