SRC names Marcinkowski director of Gryphon Sensors

CICERO, N.Y. — Craig Marcinkowski has been named director of SRC’s Gryphon Sensors unit.

Marcinkowski will lead efforts for Gryphon Sensors in the unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) integration and drone security markets, according to a company release. He will be responsible for product development, supporting market pursuits, and program execution within the business area. Marcinkowski will also focus on developing new business as well as strategies, road maps, and investment programs for Gryphon products and customers, the release said.

“Craig’s experience with UAS technology and the various market needs will provide invaluable insight and guidance as the Gryphon Sensors business unit helps to solve tough problems for our customers,” said Paul Tremont, president and CEO of SRC.

Marcinkowski has been with the SRC enterprise for more than eight years. He most recently led strategy and business development at Gryphon Sensors and previously supported the ground radar business at SRC as a business development manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and an MBA from Binghamton University.

Marcinkowski is also the secretary of the Commercial Drone Alliance board of directors and the local work group lead for Project U-SAFE.
