In his new role, Bessey is responsible for directing the company’s corporate business-development team — setting policy for all corporate business-development activities and growing SRC’s pipeline of business prospects. He has worked at SRC for 14 years, most recently serving as assistant VP for counter-UAS (unmanned aircraft systems) business development, the Cicero–based company said. Bessey earned his master’s degree in electrical engineering from Binghamton University and has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Syracuse University.
Lawrence will be responsible for supporting new and existing business with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps in her new role. She has worked at SRC for two years and most recently worked as director of counter-UAS business development, per SRC. Lawrence earned her master’s degree in business administration from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School and her bachelor’s degree in business and management from the University of Maryland. Lawrence also studied aeronautical science and pilot training at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
