St. Joseph’s appoints Blumin as associate dean of students for College of Nursing

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The St. Joseph’s College of Nursing recently appointed Nicole Blumin as associate dean of students for the college.

She will be responsible for managing all student services at the college including admissions, financial aid, disability services, and academic student development, St. Joseph’s said in a news release.

Blumin has been employed at the St. Joseph’s College of Nursing since 1998 as the coordinator for student development. Prior to joining St. Joseph’s, she worked in admissions at Syracuse University and Lynn University, which is located in Boca Raton, Fla.

Blumin received her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and her master’s degree from the School of Education in Higher Education Student Services. She resides in Fayetteville with her husband Kyle.

The St. Joseph’s College of Nursing says it is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
