Prior to her work at Upstate’s Community location, Price served in several hospitals under a “national-consulting group” as strategic planner, project manager, and interim CFO.

St. Joseph’s didn’t name the group or any of the hospitals in the news release.

Price has also worked as a hospital’s director of finance and as a consultant for an international accounting firm.

Price will help St. Joseph’s navigate the future health-care environment in which “quality and finance will be more connected,” Kathryn Ruscitto, president and CEO, said in the news release.

“Her financial acumen combined with her knowledge of operations and quality will help propel us forward as we further develop as a healthcare organization,” Ruscitto said.
