St. Joseph’s Health appoints Falcone as chief medical officer, Himes as CEO of St. Joseph’s Physicians group

Falcone has been with St. Joseph’s Health for almost three decades, having worked in positions ranging from medical and clinical affairs to managerial positions. His effort has included more than 20 years of clinical experience as an aesthetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgeon.

Most recently, Falcone served as St. Joseph’s medical director of quality and led the hospital through the “many challenges brought on by the global health crisis.”

“I am humbled by the confidence and trust the leadership at St. Joseph’s Health has given me,” Falcone said in a statement. “I look forward to leading our team of dedicated physicians and staff at St. Joseph’s Health as the new chief medical officer and continue to provide the safest and highest quality of care to our patients.”

About Himes

Himes has worked at St. Joseph’s Health for over a decade. Most recently, she served as the COO for St. Joseph’s Physicians and oversaw the day-to-day operations and development of the medical group.

Prior to that, Himes was director of clinical operations and ensured all operations and initiatives were aligned with business practices “while maintaining the highest quality of patient care,” St. Joseph’s Health said. She started her tenure as a physician assistant.

“I am extremely honored and grateful for the opportunity to become the CEO of St. Joseph’s Physicians/MGPS,” said Himes. “It has been a privilege to serve as COO these past 5 years during a time of rapid expansion and I am excited for this next step ahead. I look forward to partnering with our physicians, managers, and staff to navigate through these challenging times in healthcare and further develop a high performing medical group.”
