St. Joseph’s Health appoints Jordan administrator for patient care services

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — St. Joseph’s Health announced it has appointed Christopher Jordan administrator for patient care services. Most recently, he served as the health system’s director of quality resources.

In his new role, Jordan will manage the entire system for evaluating patient care services, outcomes, and quality measures, St. Joseph’s Health said in a news release. That includes clinical transformation, emergency services, and behavioral medicine services.

Prior to joining St. Joseph’s in May 2014 as its director of quality resources, Jordan worked at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. There, he started as a critical care registered nurse, before becoming a quality improvement specialist, and ultimately being named director of quality improvement and infection control.

Jordan earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgetown University and his master’s degree in health services administration from George Washington University.
