St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center

St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center has appointed Carleen Y. Pensero director of patient access. She has worked for St. Joseph’s for 14 years, first in the area of patient access, and later led the training and quality improvement. Pensero then moved to director roles in business development and medical staff services. She earned an MBA from Columbia College and has completed leadership and project management courses in the community; she is a 2011 graduate of the Leadership Greater Syracuse training program. The following individuals joined St. Joseph’s active medical staff. With a specialty in emergency, Christian C. Bannerman, M.D.; Thomas M. DiNardo, M.D.; Brennan P. Ellis, M.D.; Matthew J. Garman, M.D.; Christian C. Knutsen, M.D.; Kelsey M. Stack, D.O.; and Erin M. Wirths, D.O. With a specialty in psychiatry, Ingrid C. Hernandez, M.D. With a specialty in family medicine, Vanessa Lalley-DeMong, D.O. and Vijaya Seepana, M.D. With a specialty in internal medicine/intensivist, Gagangeet Sandhu, M.D. With a specialty in hematology/oncology, Tarek J. Sousou, M.D. With a specialty in general surgery, Travis P. Webb, M.D.
