St. Joseph’s launches an office of patient experience

SYRACUSE — St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center today announced the opening of its office of patient experience, which focuses on all patient interactions throughout its system of care.

The office of patient experience will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure care is consistently “patient-centered” and focused on “quality, safety, and clinical outcomes,” the hospital said in a news release.

The office will work to “effectively” integrate multiple service areas and programs, including patient relations, patient survey-data analysis, the patient/family advisory council, volunteer services, and interpreter services.
