AAA Western and Central New York has promoted STACEY MCCONNELL to VP of insurance for AAA Members Insurance Agency of Western and Central New York, Inc. Formerly director of insurance sales & service operations, she will begin her new role immediately. McConnell will be responsible for the strategic direction of the organization’s insurance operation, with an emphasis on growing AAA’s insurance presence throughout the greater Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse areas. She joined AAA Western and Central New York in 2017 and has been responsible for sales and service operations. McConnell has 16 years of insurance experience, including a strong background in auto and property sales and service. Her background includes roles as an agent, supervisor, trainer, and manager throughout various divisions at GEICO. McConnell is a licensed property and casualty agent and holds an active life insurance license. She is a graduate of Daemen College. McConnell works from the AAA Amherst Travel & Insurance Center. She replaces David Hodge, who has taken a new role as sales executive at CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurance carrier and partner.
