GEDDES, N.Y. — The New York State Fair has announced the extension of Chevrolet’s sponsorship agreement with the Fair.

The three-year, $525,000 extension begins “immediately” and involves rebranding the Fair’s two main music stages into a single festival, the State Fair said in a release issued Monday.

The new Chevrolet Music Festival at Chevy Court and the Experience Stage creates a festival involving more than 75 performances, “highlighted” by free shows from national touring acts such as Blondie, Counting Crows, Smokey Robinson, Niall Horan, Eddie Money, Hanson, and All Time Low, according to the State Fair.

Schedules for the Chevrolet Music Festival at Chevy Court and the Experience Stage can be found here.

In addition, Chevrolet will continue to provide its trucks to pull the Fair’s continuous trams, which allowed the Fair to make the trams free of charge to fairgoers. The Fair’s trams run continuously on the road that rings the 375-acre Fairgrounds.

The New York State Fair, which the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets operates, runs from Aug. 22 through Sept. 3.
