The arrest stems from a complainant on Oct. 19, 2018 when a victim told a state trooper about a credit card having charges on it that the person did not make. The State Police say the victim bought food with a credit card at the McDonald’s drive thru on Front Street in the town of Dickinson but was never returned the card.
An investigation revealed that Kenaya T. Williams, age 25 of Binghamton, never gave back the victim’s credit card while working the drive thru. Williams is accused of giving the card to Bashera E. Majewski, age 23 of Binghamton, who then allegedly gave the card to Johnoy O. Crockwell, age 22 of Endicott.
Crockwell allegedly purchased several items at several retail stores and a gas station. The trooper located Crockwell on Oct. 20, 2018. He was arrested and charged with felony identity theft in the second degree and given an appearance ticket to the town of Dickinson Court on Oct. 25. The continuing investigation revealed surveillance video from Oct. 18, showing Williams working at the drive thru and passing the credit card to Majewski. Williams was arrested Nov. 13 and charged with felony grand larceny in the fourth degree. She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Dickinson Court on Nov. 29. On Jan. 17, Majewski was arrested and charged with felony grand larceny in the fourth degree. Majewski was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Dickinson Court that day.
