State Police investigate bank robbery at Sylvan Beach branch of Adirondack Bank

SYLVAN BEACH, N.Y. — The New York State Police announced they are looking for an “individual” who on Wednesday afternoon robbed the Adirondack Bank branch in the village of Sylvan Beach.

State Police say that at 12:46 pm, a person entered the front entrance to the Adirondack Bank office located at 808 Main St., approached the teller counter, and showed a hand-written note demanding money. The individual did not display a weapon.

The suspect was last seen walking out of the bank down Main Street and making a left-hand turn onto 8th Avenue. State Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information regarding the bank robbery, to contact them at (315) 366-6000.
