Leahy Scott said, “This defendant brazenly produced fraudulent medical forms to justify paid time off to which he was not entitled. I will continue dedicating the resources of my office pursuing any public employee who violates the public trust.”
Sweezey was arraigned on the charges by Town of Bridgewater Justice William Massey and released after posting $1,000 cash bail pending further court action.
The New York State Police assisted with the arrest, the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision helped with the investigation, and Oneida County District Attorney Scott D. McNamara is prosecuting the matter, according to Leahy Scott’s office.
