ROME, N.Y. — Strategic Financial Services recently opened its new office in Rome at 1320 Floyd Avenue and celebrated with a ribbon cutting on June 23.

Rome natives Gregory Mattacola, lead advisor; Kathryn Nola, associate advisor; and Crystal Seymour, executive assistant, head up the team at the new office.

“Rome has seen rapid growth in recent years, and we’re excited to be a part of it,” Strategic CEO Alan Leist, III, said in a release. “Rome is an amazing place to be and has been so welcoming to the Strategic family as we expand our footprint. We want to thank the Rome [Area] Chamber of Commerce, the [Greater] Utica Chamber of Commerce, and so many others for their support and dedication to growth — one of our core values — in the Rome community. We know a bright future lies ahead.”

Mattacola founded and operated The Mattacola Law Firm for 13 years in Rome, focusing on estate planning, health care, and employment law. He also served in the past as VP and in-house counsel to Rome Memorial Hospital and counsel to Hancock Estabrook, LLP. He is a past chair and current second vice-chairman of the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce.

“I have a true passion for the Rome area community,” Mattacola said. “The people here are my neighbors, friends, and colleagues. They deserve the superior level of wealth-management services that Strategic Financial is known for, and I’m thrilled that we are coming to Rome to do just that.”

During the ribbon-cutting celebration, Strategic presented a $2,500 donation to the Rome Family Branch YMCA on West Bloomfield Street in support of its mission to serve the community by empowering young people, improving the health and wellbeing of people of all ages, and inspiring action in and across communities.
