SUNY Oswego, OCC to offer education-information session on Tuesday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — SUNY Oswego and Onondaga Community College (OCC) will hold an information session on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the SUNY Oswego Metro Center in downtown Syracuse at Clinton Square.

The event is free and open to the public, SUNY Oswego said in a news release.

All interested students and families seeking to learn more about SUNY Oswego and OCC are welcome to attend the event, which will include a presentation, overviews, a question and answer session, and tours of the SUNY Oswego Syracuse branch location.

SUNY Oswego said the event “may be of particular interest to students displaced by the recent closure of ITT Tech and to local students, residents or working professionals seeking to complete an Oswego bachelor’s degree in business administration, human development or public justice in downtown Syracuse.”

“Onondaga Community College’s close working relationship with SUNY Oswego allows students to complete an associate’s degree in two years and then transfer, with junior status, to finish their bachelor’s degree at SUNY Oswego in Syracuse through three undergraduate completion programs,” Amy Kremenek, OCC’s VP for enrollment development and communications, said in the release.
