SUNY Poly wins $1.25 million grant for advanced manufacturing performance center

SUNY Poly LogoALBANY, N.Y. — SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) plans to use a federal grant of $1.25 million to help establish an advanced manufacturing performance (AMP) center.

The grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) also involves $500,000 in matching funds from Empire State Development (ESD), SUNY Poly said in a news release issued Thursday.

ESD is New York’s primary economic-development agency.
