ALBANY, N.Y. — SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) plans to use a federal grant of $1.25 million to help establish an advanced manufacturing performance (AMP) center.
The grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) also involves $500,000 in matching funds from Empire State Development (ESD), SUNY Poly said in a news release issued Thursday.
ESD is New York’s primary economic-development agency.
