POTSDAM, N.Y. — SUNY Potsdam has volunteered to host a state COVID-19 vaccination site, which is available to eligible community members.
The appointment-based vaccination site will operate at the Maxcy Hall Fieldhouse, which is located in the school’s athletic complex.
“Serving our community is at the heart of SUNY Potsdam’s mission. We are proud to offer our facilities to assist our partners in public health and medicine, to help ensure that the North Country is protected against COVID-19. Opening our doors to ensure that all eligible residents are able to be immunized against the virus is the least we can do to support our community — and is just another example of how we have collectively come together throughout this pandemic,” SUNY Potsdam President Kristin Esterberg said in a statement.
