Pioneer Companies has promoted SUSAN M. SMITHto director of property management with responsibility for overseeing the budget, marketing, maintenance programs, and personnel of the portfolio of both internally owned and third-party commercial properties. She joined Pioneer in 1992 and has been involved in managing all major commercial asset classes. Smith is a graduate of the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and earned her real property administrator designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute. In addition, RYAN MONE has joined the company as director of technical services. He will be responsible for the oversight and training of the building engineering staff in Rochester and Syracuse. Mone brings more than 20 years of experience in engineering, project management, and building trades as well as significant leadership skills. He has both a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from Syracuse University.
