SYRACUSE, N.Y. — No. 22 Syracuse will tangle with No. 14 N.C. State in the JMA Wireless Dome on Oct.15 in a kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. on the ACC Network, the ACC announced Monday.

The matchup is shaping up as the first football game between two ranked teams in the Dome since 2001, Syracuse said Monday. The contest also gives the Orange their first attempt at reaching six wins and securing bowl eligibility.

Syracuse improved to 5-0 and is now ranked in the AP poll following its 59-0 win over Wagner on Saturday. The 5-0 start for the Orange represents their best start to a season since 1987.
