Syracuse basketball schedules Carleton University for second exhibition game of next season

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse University men’s basketball team will host Carleton University — of Ottawa, Canada — on Tuesday, Oct. 29 in its second exhibition game of the 2019-2020 season, Syracuse announced Friday.

The Orange and the Carleton Ravens last met in an exhibition game in November 2014, with Syracuse winning 76-88. A year earlier, Syracuse played at Carleton as part of a three-game exhibition-game summer swing through Canada. The Orange won that contest, 69-65.

Carleton has won 14 of the last 17 national college basketball championships in Canada, including last year.

Syracuse basketball will open its upcoming season with an exhibition game vs. Daemen College, a Division II school from the Buffalo area, on Saturday, Oct. 26. This is the first time that Syracuse and Daemen will be meeting on the hardwood.
