SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse University men’s basketball team will host Oakland University in a non-conference game on Dec. 18 at the Carrier Dome, the university announced Monday.
The Orange and the Golden Grizzlies have played three prior times — all at the Dome and all won by Syracuse by at least 20 points.
Oakland, which is located in suburban Detroit, went 16-17 last season and failed to qualify for post-season play.
Syracuse posted a 20-14 record last year, advancing to the NCAA Tournament as an 8 seed but losing in the 1st Round to Baylor.
