SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The federal government has awarded the Syracuse Community Health Center (SCHC) a grant of nearly $4 million.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded the $3.8 million in funding, the office of U.S. Rep. John Katko (R–Camillus) announced.
The grant was awarded by the Health Resource and Services Administration’s (HRSA) health center cluster grant program and will support the continuation of SCHC’s services in Central New York.

SCHC is a federally qualified health center that serves more than 34,000 patients each year in Onondaga County.
