SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse athletics department on Monday announced it has sold more than 4,000 new season tickets for the 2019 football season.
It’s one of the largest one-year sales increases Syracuse football has ever posted, according to an athletics department news release.
Syracuse football — coming off a 10-3 record in 2018, its best season in 17 years — has also seen more than 90 percent of existing Orange season ticket holders renew for 2019.
The department said fewer than 1,250 season tickets for first-level seats remain and it expects first- and second-level season tickets to sell out. Syracuse didn’t disclose the total number of season tickets it has sold for next season.
Syracuse’s six-game home schedule is comprised of: Clemson (Sept. 14), Western Michigan (Sept. 21), Holy Cross (Sept. 28), Pittsburgh (Oct. 18), Boston College (Nov. 2), and Wake Forest (Nov. 30)
Prices for 2019 Syracuse football season tickets start at $125. Single-game tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, April 16. Prices for those tickets start at $25 for the non-conference games, $35 for the non-Clemson ACC games, and $65 for the Clemson contest.
Syracuse capped off its 2018 football season with a 34-18 win over West Virginia in the Camping World Bowl in Orlando. The Orange were ranked No. 15 in the final AP poll.
