SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse University and the University of Connecticut have agreed to play four times on the gridiron between 2022 and 2027, the schools announced Friday in a joint statement.

The Orange will host Connecticut in the Carrier Dome on Sept. 6, 2025 and Oct. 3, 2026. Syracuse will travel to East Hartford to face the Huskies on Sept. 10, 2022 and Nov. 6, 2027.

“We look forward to our four-game series with UConn,” Syracuse Director of Athletics John Wildhack said in the statement. “This is a game our fans have always embraced, both at the Dome and in Connecticut, where we have a strong alumni concentration.”

Syracuse and Connecticut have played 11 times since 2004, with the Huskies holding a 6-5 series advantage. The Orange have won the last three meetings, including a 51-21 triumph in the most recent matchup in 2018.

Three of Syracuse’s four non-conference opponents for the 2022 and 2025 seasons are now set. The home date with the Huskies in 2026 completes the Orange non-conference slate for that year. Syracuse has three non-ACC slots left to fill in 2027.
