SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse University’s homecoming football game with the Clemson Tigers on Sept. 30 is set for a 12 p.m. kickoff on ABC, the school announced Monday.

Before getting to that high-profile matchup, the Orange this Saturday, Sept. 23, will host the Black Knights of Army West Point, also in a 12 p.m. kickoff. The ACC Network will broadcast that game, which is Syracuse’s annual military appreciation game, the university said.

The Orange football team improved to 3-0 this season after defeating Purdue, 35-20, on Saturday night with quarterback Garrett Shrader setting a new program record for rushing touchdowns by a QB with four in the win over the Boilermakers. The game was televised nationally on NBC.

After losing their opener to Duke, 28-7, Clemson has cruised to victories over Charleston Southern, 66-17, and Florida Atlantic this past Saturday, 48-14.
