Syracuse police seek to identify two who stole $2,000 in cosmetics from Sephora Store at Destiny

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse police are looking for help identifying two women they said stole $2,000 worth of cosmetics from the Sephora Store at Destiny USA.

Police say two women entered the store on Feb. 11 and started filling large bags with a mix of cosmetic items.

“When the suspects were leaving, store security attempted to stop them, but the suspects were able to get away. The suspects then left the mall parking lot in a dark-colored SUV-style vehicle,” police said in a news release.

“The suspects were described as two black females, 20 to 30 years old,” police said. “The first suspect was wearing a dark-colored winter coat, with fur around the collar area and a red hat. The second suspect was wearing a dark-colored winter coat, and had long straight black hair.”

Both are wanted for grand larceny in the fourth degree.

Police released a photo of the suspects taken from store security cameras.
