Syracuse Regional Airport Authority to host confab for state aviation management group starting Wednesday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority will host the 2014 New York Aviation Management Association (NYAMA) fall conference this Wednesday through Friday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

The NYAMA conference’s sessions and discussion panels will cover topics including: women in aviation, sustainability efforts at airports, dealing with endangered species on airports, and more, according to a news release from the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority. The annual conference provides airport managers, industry executives, and aviation professionals an opportunity to network with their peers and learn about what is happening in the aviation industry from federal funding, to new and emerging trends in airport operations.

“We are very excited to host this year’s New York Aviation Management Association Annual Fall Conference,” Christina R. Callahan, executive director of Syracuse Hancock International Airport and the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority, said in the release. “Our robust program has something for anyone who works in the aviation industry.”
