SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Police have arrested a Syracuse teenager after new graffiti markings were discovered on the Syracuse University campus.
Based on statements made in the investigation, it appears the graffiti was “intended to be in support of the campus protests,” the Syracuse Police Department (SPD) said in a Thursday news release.
Police have charged Kym McGowan, 18, with criminal mischief in the fourth degree and making graffiti, both misdemeanors. McGowan was released on an appearance ticket.
