SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse University (SU) will host Le Moyne College to open the 2024-25 men’s basketball season on Nov. 4.
Le Moyne will be entering its second season in Division I, as a member of the Northeast Conference.
It will be the first time the neighboring schools will meet in a regular season game in which they are both members of Division I. Syracuse and Le Moyne have met six times in the regular season when the Dolphins were part of Division II, with the Orange winning each game, SU Athletics said in Wednesday’s announcement. The Orange won the most recent contest, 85-51, on Dec. 16, 2008.
