SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse University Athletics and the ride-hailing service Lyft, Inc. have announced a partnership starting this fall.

Lyft is now the “official and exclusive ride-sharing service of Syracuse Athletics,” the school said in a news release. It didn’t disclose financial terms of the pact.

San Francisco, California–based Lyft has also signed on as a presenting sponsor of Otto’s Army and the student section. Lyft will have digital signage inside the Carrier Dome on game days.

With the agreement, Lyft becomes the “only” ride-hailing company that will be able to “directly reach the Syracuse University Athletics fan base, including the student body, who will be attending athletic events.”

Lyft will provide discounted rates for students who sign up for rides and provide “special giveaways” for event attendees, Syracuse University said.

Lyft is offering a promotional code (GOCUSE) that provides up to $5 off for a new user’s first four rides, the school added.
