SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse University on Monday afternoon announced its complete 2016-2017 men’s basketball schedule. The Orange tip off the new regular season on Friday, Nov. 11 at home against Colgate.
That’s followed by four games that are part of the Brooklyn Hoops Invitational — three games at the Carrier Dome — Holy Cross (Nov. 15), Monmouth (Nov. 18), and South Carolina State (Nov. 22) — and one contest versus South Carolina on Nov. 26 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The rest of the basketball slate’s highlights include non-conference games at Wisconsin (Nov. 29), vs. Connecticut at Madison Square Garden in New York City (Dec. 5), home versus Georgetown (Dec. 17), and home against St. John’s (Dec. 21).

The early ACC schedule for Syracuse includes games home against Miami (Jan. 4), at North Carolina (Jan. 16), and at Notre Dame (Jan. 21).
February’s Syracuse slate includes three big home games: Virginia (Feb. 4), Louisville (Feb. 13), and Duke (Wednesday, Feb. 22).
Syracuse finished the 2015-2016 season with a 23-14 record, culminating with a trip to the Final Four in Houston, where the 10th seeded Orange lost to North Carolina in a national semifinal game.
