JUNIUS, N.Y. — Talbots, a retailer of women’s fashion apparel, shoes, and accessories, will open a store at the Waterloo Premium Outlets in early April.

The Talbots location is near the Brooks Brothers Factory Store in the outlet shopping center, according to a news release Waterloo Premium Outlets issued Tuesday.

“We are pleased to welcome Talbots to our fine selection of retailers at Waterloo Premium Outlets,” Tammy Cemoni, director of marketing and business development, said in the news release. “We expect the Talbot’s brand will be well received by our diversified shopper base.”

Waterloo Premium Outlets is located just off the New York State Thruway in the town of Junius — between the Waterloo and Geneva exits.

Talbots operates more than 495 stores throughout the U.S. and Canada, the release said. That includes stores in Skaneateles, DeWitt, Ithaca, and New Hartford.
