OWEGO, N.Y. — The board of directors of the Tioga County Industrial Development Agency (TCIDA) announced it has chosen a new chairperson.

The group appointed Jenny Ceccherelli. She replaces Ralph Kelsey, who was board chair for six years. Kelsey recently resigned his position on the TCIDA board after 22 years of service.

The board selected Ceccherelli during its annual organizational meeting held Wednesday.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to continue the mission of the Tioga County IDA; particularly in advancing job opportunities and focusing on the general prosperity and economic welfare of Tioga County” Ceccherelli said in a statement.

Ceccherelli was first appointed as a member of the TCIDA board in 2017 and also serves as the chair of the governance committee.
