The Central New York Community Foundation has hired QIANA WILLIAMS as program officer. In this role, she engages directly with community residents and nonprofit staff to assist in the design and implementation of the Community Foundation’s strategic initiatives and grantmaking. Williams is deeply committed to community improvement and has an extensive background in education and the arts. She formerly served as curator of public programs at the Everson Museum of Art, education curator at the Community Folk Art Center, and humanities educator for the Syracuse City School District.

SUNDAY KULANG has joined the Community Foundation as development associate. She assists with the administration of the foundation’s constituent-management database to help build and sustain relationships with current and potential donors, professional advisors, and other constituents. Kulang attended SUNY Oswego, where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is a longtime member of the Black Student Union.

CORY SCHAD has joined the foundation as senior manager of events & communications. Schad previously served as director of development and communications at Bishop Grimes Jr./Sr. High School. He brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing, event planning and execution, and athletics, formerly serving as an assistant athletic director at his alma mater, Cazenovia College. There, he received a bachelor’s degree in sport management.
