OWEGO — The Tioga County Legislature has named LeeAnn Tinney the county’s new director of economic development and planning. For the last 15 years, Tinney has served as business administrator for the Tioga County Industrial Development Agency (TCIDA).
She will begin her new position on July 8. Tinney replaces Doug Barton, who retired this month after serving as Tioga County director of economic development and planning since 2003.
TCIDA will start an immediate search for Tinney’s replacement as business administrator.
