APALACHIN, N.Y. — The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon-cutting event for Kali’s Klub House next Monday, May 15, at 11:00 a.m., according to a recent news release from the chamber.
Located at Fargnoli Farms at 4041 Pennsylvania Ave. in Apalachin, Kali’s Klub House is a nonprofit organization that serves people with special needs, at-risk youth, seniors, and veterans using horses. Kali’s Klub House offers therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, equine-assisted learning, and equine experiential education to serve its clients.
Kali’s Klubhouse, which was founded in December 2015, says it has a team of certified equine professionals, physical and mental-health professionals, and dedicated volunteers. Its mission is to “provide an environment of support which allows individuals with emotional, physical, and social disabilities to expand their boundaries and understanding of the world around them,” the organization says.
