NICHOLS, N.Y. — Tioga Downs announced it has hired Stephanie Rogers as its new director of sales.

Rogers most recently worked as association and corporate sales manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Binghamton, and before that as sales associate-rooms division at the Traditions at the Glen Resort & Conference Center, according to her LinkedIn profile. She also previously worked as a school teacher in the Harpursville Central School District.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join such a dynamic team with a grand vision for the future of Tioga Downs,” Rogers said in a Tioga Downs news release. “With a buildout of the additional amenities for our world-class gaming and entertainment complex, there is a lot of work to do ahead of us, but I know we’ll be able to reach those goals.”

Tioga Downs is an entertainment complex, located in Nichols in Tioga County, that offers harness racing and simulcasting, casino gaming, live entertainment, restaurants and bars, and soon a hotel.

The new casino opened in December and work continues on a 161-room hotel and convention center, set to open in November, per the release.
