SYRACUSE, N.Y. — TJM Properties has appointed Tiffany Gallagher as general manager of the Crowne Plaza Syracuse hotel.

The Crowne Plaza is the cylindrical hotel standing adjacent to Interstate 81 in downtown Syracuse, near the intersection with Interstate 690.

In her new position, Gallagher is responsible for all operational and marketing aspects of the Crowne Plaza hotel, TJM said in a news release.

Gallagher most recently served as general manager of Syracuse’s “largest hotel and conference center complex,” the Holiday Inn Syracuse-Liverpool-Exit 37 and Staybridge Suites Conference Center, TJM said. Both hotels are located in the town of Salina.

She began her hotel career as director of sales and catering at the same Holiday Inn location.

In 2009, Gallagher was appointed general manager of the Holiday Inn Ithaca in downtown Ithaca.

“Tiffany brings an in-depth knowledge of the Central New York market and a proven record of strong leadership and civic involvement,” Cem Erenler, TJM’s VP of hotel operations and business development, said in the firm’s news release. “As we move forward with our plans for the Crowne Plaza Syracuse and other properties, her experience and commitment to excellence in hospitality will be an enormous asset to the TJM team.”

TJM Properties, a Clearwater, Florida–based real estate and hospitality company, bought the Crowne Plaza hotel in May.
