UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County officials reported Thursday that the public may have been recently exposed to the coronavirus at the Tops grocery store in Sherrill, the Victoria’s Secret retail store in New Hartford, and several other locations.

Oneida County also reported the following coronavirus statistics on Thursday:

  • 9 new positive cases, 2,618 total (1 is a nursing-home resident)
  • 137 active positive cases (up 3 from Wednesday)
  • No new COVID-19-related deaths, 128 total
  • 8 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County at MVHS (down 1 from yesterday)

(3 are nursing-home residents)

  • 2,353 people have recovered (up 6 from a day prior)
  • 197,454 total negative results.
  • 200,072 total tests have been conducted.
  • 137 in mandatory isolation (up 3 from Wednesday
  • 718 in mandatory quarantine (21 more than yesterday)

The county’s infection rate was 0.42 percent in the last day, with 9 positives out of 2,142 total tests.
